I have to start by saying this is one of the easiest breakfast recipes I’ve ever made! Eggs and parmesan cheese? You’re talking my love language here. Requiring just a handful of simple ingredients and only a few steps to complete, these creamy parmesan baked eggs make for a wonderful breakfast or brunch on the weekend!

  • Eggs – large.
  • Cream – I used heavy cream, use half and half for a lighter fare.
  • Butter – unsalted.
  • Cheese – Freshly grated parmesan cheese is the way to go.
  • Salt & Pepper – to taste.

How to make creamy parmesan baked eggs

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 425 F degrees.
  2. Prep: Butter 2 4″ ramekins. Crack 2 eggs in each ramekin.
  3. Add Ingredients: Add 2 tbsp of heavy cream in each ramekin. Season the eggs with salt and pepper.
  4. Finish: Grate some Parmesan cheese over the eggs.
  5. Bake: Bake for about 10 to 12 mins.

How to serve

These eggs are very creamy, and the Parmesan gives them a nice cheesy flavor! I always love to garnish these eggs either with a bit of parsley or chives. The best way to serve them is with toast or some freshly made crusty bread! I always say the simplest of meals are the best.
